These were at Plum Island, last week (Oct. 5, 2000). One through five are Sanderlings, six are yellowlegs, and seven is a Great Egret. The Sanderlings (Sandpipers) were playing at the waters edge on the beaches at the far end of Plum Island. If you have never been there go, it is a beautiful place.
