The Internet is More Dangerous Than Ever Before

After the latest wide-spread DDoS attack that targeted Dyn at the DNS level, we are reminded that the Internet is only becoming more dangerous.

In a recent article published by the Wall Street Journal, Deepfield Co-Founder and CEO, Dr. Craig Labovitz was sought out for his expert opinion on the current state of Internet security.

"Denial-of-service attacks have been around for decades, but the attack on Dyn was made particularly severe by an influx of new, poorly secured devices onto an increasingly complex and interdependent global internet," said Craig Labovitz, co-founder and chief executive of Deepfield Inc., a network-analytics company.
“The problem is still here,” Mr. Labovitz said. “And it may be worse than it was before.”

Deepfield's next-generation DDoS solution, Defender, is a state-of-the-art software-based application that accesses patented global service mapping technology to provide unparalleled context and surgical precision in extracting DDoS attacks from a network.
