Deepfield, the leading provider of Big Data solutions for Cloud Providers, Telecom and Cable Operators announced today five new large contracts for their Singularity™ Big Data platform and Cloud Intelligence™ application.
The Deepfield solution provides real-time analytics into cost, performance, and quality of experience across tens of millions of customers and terabytes of streaming data from routers, switches and datacenter elements. With the addition of these five new customers, Deepfield is now the largest Cloud and Telecom Big Data provider in the Americas with coverage of more than 1/5 of all US Internet traffic.
Previously publicly named customers include Comcast, Time Warner Cable and the primary research and education network in the US, Internet2. This year, Deepfield also expanded into Europe, Asia and Latin America with multiple large cloud, cable, and telecom customer wins.
“These most recent wins for Deepfield show the growing market demand for improving customer quality of experience, reducing costs and competing in the increasingly complex new Internet economy. We are especially proud that many of these wins were competitive evaluations with other Big Data solutions,” said Deepfield CEO, Dr. Craig Labovitz.
“We are also encouraged by the diversity of our user-base, from engineers focused on traffic management to marketing executives and CEOs solving business problems.” said Jeffrey Bazar, VP of Business Development. He continued, “We are also excited about the adoption of our platform API to provide network visibility to traditional OSS/BSS systems, next-generation orchestration systems, and SDN controllers.”
